It depends on your fare: refundable fares can be cancelled for a full or partial refund, while non-refundable fares usually return only unused taxes or a travel credit, if anything. There is one big exception โ if the airline itself cancels your flight, you are entitled to a refund regardless of fare type. When you book with us, each fare's cancellation terms are displayed before payment.
Cancelling by choice
When you cancel voluntarily, the airline's fare rules decide the outcome:
- Refundable fares โ cancelled for a full refund, or a partial one after a cancellation fee.
- Non-refundable fares โ the base fare is kept, though some airlines return government taxes or offer a travel credit for future flights.
Non-refundable fares are cheaper for a reason: you carry the cancellation risk. If your plans might move, that risk is worth pricing in when you compare fares.
